Why Amazing Fall Fun?
Amazing Fall Fun is a leader in educating and entertaining Indiana families, beginning in 2011 with Indiana's Largest Corn Maze. It is part of a production farm operated by Larry and Rhonda Smith of Waterloo. Amazing Fall Fun is centrally located in DeKalb County near I-69 State Road 6 & 8 and has been recognized by TIME magazine, USA Today, ESPN, CNN, Yahoo, and other national, regional, and local media.
What is included in the price?
Admission to Amazing Fall Fun includes access to the Corn Maze and Barnyard Activity Area. Tickets for the Hay Ride are sold separately. We are open Fridays, Saturday's and Sunday's. Check out all the details on our Pricing & Tickets page.
Do you close for rain?
Amazing Fall Fun is an all outdoor activity and subject to the weather. We can handle a little rain, but if it gets too rainy we have to close. Check our Facebook page for real-time updates and news about any weather related closures.
Do you give refunds if it starts to rain?
We do not offer refunds.
How big is the MAZE?
The MAZE is cut into about 16 acres of corn. In addition to Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the MAZE, we have the Fairy Tail Trail which is great for little tikes.
How long does it take to get through the MAZE?
Well this, of course, all depends on your choices! Our experience is that most people enjoy 30-60 minutes of getting lost and we shoot for that as the average time. We have broken the MAZE into two phases, so you have the option of completing one or both parts, depending on your skill and patience. Of course, we do have Corn Cops to help you if you are completely corn-fused. Don’t worry, we won’t leave you out there!
We also have a very simple and short pathway - the Fairy Tale Trail MAZE - for the little tikes who want the experience of the corn but primarily want to enjoy the other activities.
What do you do with the corn?
Our corn is harvested each year for cattle feed along with the rest of the corn on our farm. Unlike humans, cows eat the corn after it is good and dry, which means our corn is perfect for harvesting after our fall season.
Can I eat the corn?
Well, you could, but it would not taste very good! The corn we plant for the MAZE is well suited to feed cattle, so it is not as sweet and tender as the corn you are used to eating. We do sell caramel and pop corn for our guests.
Is there food available at the farm?
You better believe it! We serve a variety of grilled food and lots of other sweet goodies. Bring your appetite!
Can I bring my own food to The Farm?
No, we do not allow any outside food and we have great food on site! if you are having a birthday party or other special event we do allow birthday cakes and sweets with prior approval.
Can I bring my pet?
While we love animals, unfortunately we cannot allow pets on the farm. Service animals and emotional support animals are allowed on-site.
Is the MAZE wheelchair/stroller accessible?
Many people bring wheelchairs and strollers through The MAZE and the other attractions at Amazing Fall Fun. You should be aware, the ground tends to be uneven and bumpy in places. With that being said, if you are up for the adventure, we say, “Come on out!”
